Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is an Hollywood actor and writer Her talent has gained her recognition and critical acclaim. Sagittarius. Born in North Carolina, on 3rd December, 1960. She's the oldest of children of Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper, and Anne an undergraduate student in psychology. She's English, Scottish and of mixed heritage. Moore's father moved around often due to his job. It was hard for her to find or keep friends. Moore was in the class of Frankfurt American High School in Germany at the time her parents relocated there. Moore began her career on stage. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), both Robert Altman productions, were her first films. The latter was critically acclaimed and Moore was nominated for several awards for it. Moore's debut lead role was on screen in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg, who was director of Jurassic Park: The Lost World in 1997, one of the highest grossing movies, cast Moore as the lead actress. In 1999, she was a part of the critically-acclaimed Magnolia and was awarded a SAG nomination for her performance. The Hours, a 2002 film in which she co-starred with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep was nominated for nine Academy Awards. Moore has also appeared in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. Non-Stop, a film that she starred in, was released. Moore has been in many productions and films. She has starred in a number of TV and film programs. Her latest role was when You Finish Save the World 2022. She has made her mark as a star in Hollywood and is also an author of children's books. Her first book Freckleface Strawberry was published in 2007, and was a bestseller on the NY Times. The bestseller was later made into a movie, series and even a musical. The author also released My Mom is Foreigner in 2013, an autobiography in 2013. Moore is known as an accomplished actress and novelist. She married John Robin in 1984 and they divorced in 1995. Bart Freundlich and Moore had two kids together. Moore's focus is on her family, friends as well as her career.
